The SmartNode family provides easy configuration options via a Web-based management portal and a command line interface. A Wizard via the web interface offers a quick and easy setup. Monitoring can be done via the management interfaces or SNMPv3. In addition, SmartNode products support secure provisioning for automated provisioning and software upgrades.

SN4130 Series - ISDN BRI
The SmartNode 4130 ISDN BRI model is available in 2, 4 or 8-port configurations to fit the requirements of small and medium-sized enterprises looking for a cost-effective way to bridge PBX systems on multiple sites or connect them to a public Internet telephony service and providing up to 10 G.722 or up to 16 T.38 or G.711 calls.
Connecting a PSTN line and an ISDN PBX to the SmartNode is secured against SIP trunk outages (fallback routing). If available, the PSTN line can also synchronise the gateway. For applications without a PSTN line available, the optional ISDN HP (high precision clock) provides error-free ISDN data and fax transmissions.
The SmartNode 4130 provides excellent VoIP and security features for seamless network integration. All BRI ports are configurable to be TE or NT.

SN4140 Series - Analogue
The SmartNode 4140 Series delivers the legacy phone interfaces, service transparency, and flexible integration required for All-IP networks. Up to 8 Analog interfaces (FXS/FXO)—2, 4 or 8 Analog ports. Either FXS or FXO or a combo configuration. Up to 8 G.722/G.711 or T.38 calls simultaneously.
The SN4140 is the perfect choice for All-IP applications where old, non-replaceable telephones must be integrated into a UCC environment or for suitable old fax devices to be migrated to the next-generation network infrastructure.
The SmartNode 4140 Series enables the enterprise to integrate this equipment at a very low cost. With its modem and fax signal to VoIP conversion capabilities, it helps to solve problems integrating PoS, metering systems, elevator phones, etc., into an All-IP environment.

SN4170 Series - E1/T1/PRI ISDN
The SmartNode 4170 series is the next-generation ISDN PRI/T1/E1 model of the proven market-leading SmartNode VoIP product family. It fits perfectly the requirements for the PRI-SIP Gateway needs of small and medium-sized enterprises looking for cost-effective ways to bridge PBX systems on multiple sites or connect them to a public Internet telephony service.
Providing one SIP-to PRI/T1/E1 (2nd for Fallback), one or two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and up to 30 VoIP calls, the SN4170 delivers a reliable, cost-effective solution for the Enterprise.
The SmartNode 4170 provides excellent VoIP and Security features for seamless SIP-to-PRI network integration. The T1/E1 PRI-SIP port is configurable to be TE or NT. You can connect your PSTN line or an ISDN PRI PBX. For fallback purposes, there is an option for a 2nd PRI port (depending on the model).

SN4980 Series - T1/E1/PRI interface
The SmartNode 4980A VoIP Gateway-Router-eSBC allows Enterprises to IP-enable their legacy PBX systems. The SN4980A Series now has more state-of-the-art features such as SIP-TLS, SRTP, TR-069, Patton Cloud connect, Survivability features, and much more.
The SN4980A supports any-to-any multi-path switching (simultaneous SIP, ISDN, and POTS calls with routing and conversion between TDM/PSTN and IP/Ethernet networks—plus T.38 and SuperG3 FAX). VoIP-over-VPN with voice encryption provides secure voice and data via IPsec, OpenVPN, or L2TP tunnelling protocol in addition to SIP-TLS & SRTP. Providing one to four T1/E1/PRI and two 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports for up to 120 VoIP calls, the SN4980A with built-in IP Router delivers secure, prioritised unified communications.
